HIGH PLUME ASPIRATING NOZZLEFOR CRITICAL LABORATORY EXHAUST SYSTEMSHOW IT WORKSDyna-Tech’s high plume/high dilution nozzle (patent pending) is industry leading technology for critical laboratory exhaust applications (A). The aspirating nozzle uses a unique design to induce additional air flow from the ambient (B) into the primary exhaust at the nozzle mixing chamber to dilute and increase the mass flow of the primary exhaust effluent. The ambient air induction ports located at the nozzle perimeter (C) are designed to increase the primary discharge air volume. This approach mixes the two air streams within the nozzle chamber (D) thus minimizing the influences of ambient cross winds. The high velocity discharge (E) provides greater dilution and a higher discharge plume. This results in better dispersion of the primary exhaust effluent (A) to protect the buildings environment from re-entrainment.
